The Celebrate Women Award is part of the Yeah The Girls 40 Plus community — a growing community of over 35,000 women. This award is open to all women over 18, regardless of age. We celebrate women from all walks of life.
This is not a traditional awards night. This is a celebration of real women — the ones who rebuilt, restarted, and kept going when life asked more of them.
It is about recognising courage, growth, and the stories that often go unseen. Because every woman deserves to be acknowledged for who she is becoming — not just what she has achieved.

Your Step-by-Step Nomination Guide
Whether you are nominating yourself or someone you admire, the process is simple and straightforward. Here is exactly what to expect.
Nominating Yourself
This is your moment. If you have been through a journey of growth, transformation, or impact — you deserve to be recognised. Self-nominations are not just welcome, they are encouraged. Stepping forward to share your story takes courage, and that is exactly what this award celebrates.
Nominating Someone Else
Know a woman who deserves to be seen? Someone whose story, courage, or impact has made a difference? You can nominate her. You will need to provide her details and answer the nomination questions on her behalf. It is one of the most powerful things you can do — tell her story.
Share Your Story
Submit a nomination for yourself or for a woman you believe deserves to be recognised. It is completely free. You will be asked to share details about her journey, impact, and why she should be celebrated. Nominations close Sunday, 14 June 2026.
Enter the Awards
Once nominated, the nominee reviews the 14 award categories and selects the one (or ones) that best align with her story. You may enter up to 3 categories. Each category entry is $89. Final entry submission closes Tuesday, 30 June 2026.
Our Panel Reviews
All submissions are carefully reviewed from late June through early July 2026, based on strength of story, personal or professional impact, growth, resilience, achievements, and alignment with the selected category. Entries that meet the criteria will progress to the next stage.
Step Into the Spotlight
Finalists will be selected and notified in early August 2026. Each category will feature a group of outstanding women whose stories reflect courage, growth, and impact. Finalists may be invited to participate in promotional features and community highlights leading up to the event.
Let the Community Decide
Voting opens Tuesday, 14 July 2026 and closes Friday, 31 July 2026. Finalists will receive a unique voting link to share with their community. The finalist whose story resonates most will be recognised as the People's Choice Winner on Gala Night.
